Here is a way to “beat the system” - kind of… AT&T currently offers the iPhone 8gb without a contract for $599, and the 16gb for $699. Here is a way to get it a little bit cheaper and get a free month of service out of the deal.

If you are a new at&t customer you can get the 8gb iPhone with a 2 year contract for $199, and a 16gb iPhone for $299 with a 2 year contract.  The activation fee is $35, taxes are $18-24, and the early termination fee (ETF) is $175. So if you are a new AT&T customer, here is what you do to save some cash:

Get the 8gb iPhone with a 2 year contract, pay the activation, taxes, and for your first month of service, then cancel your service after the first month. You must cancel AFTER the first month since your contract will state that you must keep service for at least 30 days or else you are required to return the phone. Then look on google for ways to unlock your iPhone. Once unlocked start using your sim from another provider in your new iPhone. You will save at least $100 over the “no contract” iPhone. 

Even if you buy the “no contract” iPhone, you will still have to unlock it to use it on another network… So why on earth would anyone pay for a “no contract” iPhone the conventional way?

According to the youtube video there is a secret trick to getting a free iphone… I have not tested the method in this video, but every little bit of information available for getting an awesome iphone 3g for free is useful. The key to getting one for free is to try different tricks and techniques until you find one that works. It may seem like alot of work, but it will pay off in the end.
